The
360° International Student Congress with Youth is a traditional academic event
hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Manisa Celal
Bayar University, bringing together students and young researchers. The
congress aims to encourage scientific knowledge sharing, contribute to the
academic development of young scholars, and strengthen interdisciplinary
collaboration.
First
held at the national level in 2014 under the theme "Crisis, Employment,
and Türkiye," the congress continued in 2015 with the theme "Public
Fiscal Policies" and gained an international identity in 2016. Throughout
this process, it has evolved into an expanding academic platform with the
participation of students from various universities and countries.
Over
the years, the congress has addressed contemporary issues such as economics,
politics, public administration, social change, and sustainability. In
particular, the fifth congress held in 2018 under the theme "Economy,
Politics, and Society on the Axis of Sustainability" reinforced its
international standing with the participation of 35 universities from 26
countries.
In
subsequent years, various themes were explored in line with global economic,
social, and technological developments. The 100th anniversary of the Republic
of Türkiye in 2023, the transformation economy in a globalizing world in 2024,
and digital transformation, green economy, and sustainable development in 2025
formed the core agenda of the congress.
The
12th edition of the 360° International Student Congress with Youth will take
place on December 3–4, 2026, under the theme "The Future of Green
Transformation: Economy, Policy, and Social Responsibility." By combining
its established academic heritage with the innovative perspectives of youth,
the congress continues to contribute to scientific production, international
cooperation, and the building of a sustainable future.
